Job Responsibilities:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY :

• Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
• Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk
• Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
• Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate and report SHEQ status.

CUSTOMERS:

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction

BUSINESS PROCESSES :

Raw Materials:

• Approve MES transactions for all Raw Material receipts
• Approve on-site movements on the MES
• Reconcile Raw Material receipts with Suppliers and Transporters
• Conduct a daily walk through in the Raw Materials area.

Final Products:

• Approve Furnace production on the MES
• Approve Export tonnages on the MES.

Reports:

• Conduct the BCS/BI administration
• Compile the Departmental Newsletter
• Compile general reports.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 10 / N1
• Computer Literacy – Microsoft Programmes, Coupa & SAP
• 5 years relevant experience

Additional qualifications:

• Grade 12 / N3
